That Lainey Wilson x Wrangler Hat Band? It's Ours.

We had to do a double-take – that's our Rough Rider Hat Band on Lainey Wilson featured in the new 2026 Wrangler x Lainey Wilson collection.

When Lainey Wilson chose to wear our Rough Rider, she shined a spotlight on authentic Navajo craftsmanship. The hat band was handcrafted by Lee Charley, a fourth-generation Navajo silversmith with over 40 years of mastery. Lee learned from his mother, Nellie Charley, in the early 1980s and now passes that knowledge to his children Dallas, Mykaiah, and Mathew Charley. His work – distinguished by ultraclean stampwork and exceptional mirror-polish finishes – has earned collaborations with Ralph Lauren, Montecristi Hats, and Malouf On The Plaza.

Every Rough Rider features eleven sterling silver conchos with genuine gemstones, intricate Navajo stampwork, and Lee's signature mirror-polish finish – all along supple leather that adjusts to fit any hat. It's made on the Reservation in Navajoland, and it's built to last generations.

By featuring Lee's work in such a high-profile collection, Lainey brings visibility to Native artists who deserve recognition. In an industry often criticized for appropriating Native designs, her choice to wear authentic Navajo jewelry sets a powerful example.
